TMG (Trimethylglycine) or glycine betaine, is 100% natural. At Oronalys, it is extracted from GMO-free sugar beet. It is produced by the body during the oxidation of choline, which has long been classified as a B vitamin, as vitamin B4. TMG betaine is an activated form of choline.

TMG's most widely appreciated virtue is its great capacity to support all the methylation processes in the body, which take place every second in every one of our cells. These include specific detoxification pathways that facilitate the elimination of toxic chemicals from the environment, such as pollutants, heavy metals or pesticides, as well as alcohol and drug residues.

Renowned for its anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective action, it prevents complications linked to diseases such as non-alcoholic fatty liver (NALFD or NASH) and alcohol-induced liver disease (ALD).

TMG helps to reduce homocysteine levels in the case of thrombotic diseases or atherogenic phenomena.
Too high a level of homocysteine will encourage inflammatory and oxidative factors, and thus the onset of cardiovascular pathologies. TMG is renowned for its ability to enhance sporting performance, particularly in high-intensity muscular sports, reducing the production of lactic acid and significantly improving glucose utilisation.
