LIPOSOMES

The ORONALYS laboratory, in partnership with the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Liege, has developed innovative liposome manufacturing processes based on a unique technology.
This research partnership is still ongoing in order to improve our manufacturing techniques to keep up with the evolution of scientific knowledge in the field.

This improvement work has led us to develop certain aspects of our manufacturing process, resulting in a change in the presentation of the capsules.
These technical developments have enabled us to improve the encapsulation rate of the active ingredients, i.e. enhanced bioavailability. The capsule sizes had to be modified and the colour of the materials changed. These changes in appearance and presentation have no impact on the quality of our active ingredients and do not change our formulations.

The liposome is a process of encapsulation in a vesicle consisting of a phospholipid bilayer. This very small structure has a high affinity with cell membranes, and therefore offers optimal bioavailability. It also protects the active ingredient against digestive or oxidative attacks by the body.
