Anxiety disorders are a group of psychological disorders representing several abnormal or pathological forms of fear, and are among the most common mental disorders. Anxiety and stress are harmful to the body and are most often accompanied by sleep disorders. To support people with these disorders, the ORONALYS Laboratory has grouped together in its new product LACTOCALM innovative, highly bioavailable active ingredients that fight against chronic stress.

Although a state of chronic stress has its origins in difficult life situations (work, family life, financial situation, etc.), it is most often associated with a physiological state that can be corrected (deficiency magnesium and high cortisol levels).

ATA Mg®, Magnesium N-Acetyl Taurinate, is a unique patented magnesium, which has demonstrated very high bioavailability. Indeed, the acetylation of taurine gives ATA Mg® a lipophilic character which increases the bioavailability of magnesium and taurine. A study has shown that the increase in magnesium in the brain following the intake of ATA Mg® leads to a greater reduction in anxiety than other magnesium salts. ATA Mg® protects against excitotoxicity induced by NDMA receptors. Taurine also helps to limit the loss of magnesium and thus helps to maintain an optimal level of magnesium.

Lactium® is an ingredient of natural origin made from milk casein. It increases the activity of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neurotransmitter well known for its inhibitory action on anxiety and its relaxing properties. In addition, when a person is chronically stressed, their cortisol levels are high. However, taking Lactium® can significantly lower the cortisol level after acute stress. Lactium® being a milk protein hydrolyzate, its absorption is rapid.
Association of group B vitamins
Lactocalm contains two B vitamins, good for energy and stress. These vitamins have been selected in their purest forms and with the highest bioavailability available.
Vitamin B3, in the form of nicotinamide, helps regulate the body's serotonin levels. Serotonin directly affects mental stability and mood.
Vitamin B6, in the form of pyridoxal 5'-phosphate, helps regulate serotonin and norepinephrine levels in the body. Both directly affect mental stability, mood, and the ability to cope with stress. Vitamin B6 also regulates the body's magnesium levels.
No side effects or addiction
Unlike drug treatments, in particular based on benzodiazepines, all of the products we have selected do not cause any side effects.
Lactocalm does not cause habituation, sedation or addiction.
Lactocalm is contraindicated for people allergic to milk proteins, due to the presence of Lactium®. With regard to lactose intolerance, the doses provided by Lactium® do not generate any adverse effects (only 0.6% lactose).
